Virtual mathematics conferences opened!
I have just created a new wiki Web site, which is a virtual math conference, just like a real math meeting but running all the time (not say once per two years). https://conference.portonvictor.org Please spread the word that we have a new kind of math conference. Please post references to your articles, videos, slides, etc.
My book was checked for errors
I have checked for errors the entire text of my research monograph Algebraic General Topology. Volume 1 in which I generalize basic concepts of general topology using so called “funcoids” instead of topological spaces. Enjoy reading this prominent math research.
My book is now available free of charge
Today I’ve took the bold decision to put my math research book online free (under Creative Commons license), with LaTeX source available for editing by anyone at a Git hosting. Because of conflict of licensing, it seems not that my book will be never published officially. However publishing in Git has some advantages: If I […]
I withdrew my article from a journal
My article was accepted for publication in European Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics, but it didn’t compile with their LaTeX templates. After waiting a reasonable time until they would tackle the problem, I have withdrawn my article and sent it to another journal. I would search for the bug in their LaTeX template myself, […]
I am going to rewrite my research monograph
When my book was already sent to a publisher, I decided to rewrite it. Here is my rewriting plan (what I am going to change in the book).
I added a new chapter to my book
After checking for errors I added (as a new chapter) materials of the article Identity staroids into my research monograph. I plan to “dissolve” this chapter, that is distribute its materials among other chapters and liquidate this chapter itself.
Draft article about identity staroids
I’ve mostly finished writing the article Identity Staroids which considers $latex n$-ary identity staroids (with possibly infinite $latex n$), which generalize $latex n$-ary identity relations and some related topics. (In my theory there are two kinds of identity staroids: big and small identity staroids.) Writing of the article is mostly finished, I am going just […]
Little changes in my math book
The section “Filters on a Set” of the preprint of my math book is rewritten noting the fact that $latex \mathrm{Cor}\, \mathcal{A} = \uparrow^{\mathrm{Base} ( \mathcal{A})} \bigcap \mathcal{A}$.
A bijection from the set of funcoids to a certain subset of reloids
I have proved that there is a bijection from the set $latex \mathsf{FCD}(A;B)$ to a certain subset of $latex \mathsf{RLD}(A;B)$ (which I call funcoidal reloids). See section (currently numbered 8.4) “Funcoidal reloids” in the preprint of my book.
An error in my book
In the draft of my book there was an error. I’ve corrected it today. Wrong: $latex \forall a, b \in \mathfrak{A}: ( \mathrm{atoms}\, a \sqsubset \mathrm{atoms}\, b \Rightarrow a \subset b)$. Right: $latex \forall a, b \in \mathfrak{A}: ( a \sqsubset b \Rightarrow \mathrm{atoms}\, a \subset \mathrm{atoms}\, b)$. There are the same error in my […]
